Generating electricity and cooling from low potential waste heat is the biggest sleeping giant of the worldwide energy market and will significantly transform the energy system globally.

There are a lot of low potential waste heat sources around the world:

  1. Thermal and nuclear power plants
  2. Steel industry
  3. Oil and gas industries
  4. Geothermal energy
  5. Marine fleet
  6. Data centers
  7. Solar thermal energy
  8. Internal combustion engines

The efficiency of most turbines and engines on average does not exceed 50%, so humanity loses not less than 1 trillion dollars per year in the form of Waste heat energy globally.

We want to make possible the cost-effective use of waste heat sources that were previously considered to be unprofitable, and significantly reduce the impact of waste heat on global warming and climate change.

This waste heat energy is very attractive for generating electricity and cooling, it is extremely cheap, clean and renewable.

Our goal is to develop the most innovative breakthrough thermodynamic cycle that will allow using low-potential waste heat energy in the range from 122 to 392 degrees Fahrenheit or from 50 to 200 degrees Celsius for the generation of electricity and cold with an efficiency of at least 30%.

To do this, we created a prototype with a capacity of up to 1.5 kW, which confirms our invention and its ability to generate electricity from low potential waste heat.

The Prototype consists of:

  • Low potential heat energy generator that provides a working fluid with a temperature of 212 degrees Fahrenheit or 100 degrees Celsius
  • Evaporator
  • Expander
  • Absorber
  • Pump

The prototype’s operation is controlled by a test panel with telemetry devices. As the prototype is on, the lamps are on.

The next step in the development of our innovation will be deployment of pilot projects using natural sources of Waste heat energy like geothermal and solar energy, and industrial sources - power stations, industrial waste heat, marine fleet, oil and gas industries.

To achieve our goals, we will support global cooperation between various energy stakeholders, including regulators, utilities, businesses, investors, governments and civil society.
